D-33, progress
Here's some more pics of the D-33 contest dungaree. I've included a few more detail shots, the tag, labels, and my own take on the traditional union label - the Independent Garment Workers of America. Haven't put the suspender buttons on this pair, but others will have them.
About a quarter finished with the production run.
Ingredients: 10oz Japanese 2x1 denim with white selvedge id, vintage 1940's enameled metal buttons, enameled metal two prong buckle, Italian chambray binding, unbleached 100% cotton thread, black cotton covered poly thread.
Hand-felled seams, with double needle chainstitched topstitching along outseam. Clean finish fly, no serging.
