Old Florida
I was talking with the really nice and really quite inspiring folks behind Old North the other day, and thought they might appreciate another old Florida post. The clothes are a little hard to make out, but I think you get some idea.

Birthday Shirt
I was thinking I was going to try skiing and/or snowboarding for my birthday this year, but the price of the lift ticket and rental gear was a bit pricey. So, I made myself a shirt. A deluxe workshirt from some very nice Japanese chambray with vintage 1930's-1940's enameled metal buttons. I'm pretty happy with the fit. Next year though, I'm hitting the slopes.

Weekend Project
I took a rare break from work this weekend and only did a small amount of sewing. So this weekend's project was to make some bitters for use in cocktails and/or digestive tonics.
If all goes well I'll have orange bitters, celery bitters, and cardamom bitters in about two weeks.
