Railroad Vest, v.1

I'm trying to squeeze in some design time inbetween a few custom orders.  Have a few things to change with this vest, but it's getting there.  Japanese selvedge denim, cold soak.

Grocery Bag, Japanese Selvedge Denim

Here's version #2 of the grocery bag.  Tried a few different things - tack button closure on top, inner band chainstitched and with exposed selvage, shortened the handle a little.  Came together well I think.

The fabric is some selvedge denim from Japan, it's very soft for being raw denim.

Grocery Bag, Indigo Striped Canvas

Talking with a fellow maker here in Asheville yesterday got me inspired to work on a few bag designs and use some of the special fabric that I've been saving.

Ingredients: Japanese indigo/white striped canvas, Cone Mills 2x1 denim, hand-hammered copper saddle rivets, all cotton thread.
