Work Shirt, Japanese Chambray, size 48

Snapshots of a shirt I just finished for a Slowboat Deadstock customer. This is the last of the Japanese indigo chambray.  I was hoping I could buy a few more yards, but sadly it is gone.

Image is rather washed out, true color of the fabric is darker.

Weekend Project

Did some chainstitch hemming on some very nice Momotaro 15.7oz jeans for buddy of mine, but no real weekend project for this week.  Got outside and enjoyed the wonderful early spring weather instead.

Reference Collection

Singer 112W140

Thinning the herd a bit more.  It's a nice piece of machinery, but I'm in need of some "liquidity" to keep things moving forward.  Get in touch soon if you're interested.

Utility Pants, with pocket flap

Here's another pair of utilities for a Slowboat Deadstock customer.

Cone Mills selvedge denim, hand-felled seams, hand-set copper rivets, selvedge belt loops, asymmetrically aged copper tack buttons (done in-house), and a drill cloth waistband.

Old Florida

I was talking with the really nice and really quite inspiring folks behind Old North the other day, and thought they might appreciate another old Florida post.  The clothes are a little hard to make out, but I think you get some idea.

Birthday Shirt

I was thinking I was going to try skiing and/or snowboarding for my birthday this year, but the price of the lift ticket and rental gear was a bit pricey.  So, I made myself a shirt.  A deluxe workshirt from some very nice Japanese chambray with vintage 1930's-1940's enameled metal buttons.  I'm pretty happy with the fit.  Next year though, I'm hitting the slopes.
