Denim Work Vest

Buckle-back selvedge denim vest, one wash, hidden chest pocket, vintage metal buttons.

Made from a couple kinds of left-over denim. Came out pretty well, but some areas were a little too much for my little 1950's White home sewing machine

Ranger jacket in the Woods

Brown duck cloth jacket with hookless fastener (a.k.a. zipper), vintage WWII army blanket lining.

Built from a late 1940's early 1950's jacket pattern. I changed a few things: added patch pockets on the chest, ignored the lining instructions and associated pattern pieces, made up the collar (missing from the pattern), kind of made the waist band too big and had to put button tabs on it... A good beginning I think. This one's going to a friend in Philadelphia.

Moto Sweatshirt

Raglan sleeve sweatshirt, contrasting rib knit, hand-stenciled print

Been modifying the pattern to be more fitted and "boxy". Currently the body's good, but the neck opening is too big, and overall it's a little too short. Hopefully fix those things next go around. Maybe increase waist band width...

Here's some caps that I've made recently. Still having a little trouble trying to tweak my patterns to get 'em just right.
