Weekend Project

It's been chilly lately, here in the Southern Appalachians.  Enough to get me to finally make myself a winter cap.  Came out okay, but a little big.  Next version should be good.  I'm out of this particular duck cloth so the next one will be whatever other scraps that I have.  Maybe denim.

Ingredients:  duck cloth shell, melton wool liner, corozo button.  Single-needle construction throughout.

*note - since it's a little too big for me I've decided to put it up on etsy and see if anyone is interested in buying it.  You can check it out here.

Weekend (and evenings) Project

My after-hours project has been making utility totes and grocery bags for family and friends.

Work Vest, Coal Tender version

Had to test out the size 36 pattern, so thought I'd try out a few other things as well.  Don't think this one will make it into production as it is, but some good things came of it in terms of fit and construction technique.
